Dissertation buy or not to buy-that is the question?

The pressure of writing a dissertation is most monstrous and unimaginable. Due to inability to handle the ginormous task on their own and deadly threatening time constraint, many people decide to buy a dissertation.

It is neither an easy task to decide where to buy dissertation from nor ask for an advice on it. Judgmental as advisors may be, they regard buying dissertation online unethical which is entirely a… Continue

using mobile media for critical reflection

There was a very interesting presentation at the University I work at the other day on the use of mobile technologies for teachers to support their professional development. For example, video or audio could be captured of lessons being taught, which the teacher could then view later and reflect upon by him/her self or with other teachers.

The new technologies open up a whole new way for teachers to critically reflect on their practice. This reflection is an important part of on-going learning… Continue

Connectivity through the P & C

Good Morning,

One area I believe ICT should be used to create greater connectivity between schools and home is within the traditional school-to-home organisation – the P & C (or P & F).

As an active member of a P & C at a Gold Coast public school, I am dismayed at how little parent involvement there is in this area of the school. When I ask why more parents do not attend the meetings, time, childcare, shiftwork or fear, are the reasons cited. So at school that has a pool of over 60… Continue

ePortfolio.

Hi everyone!

ePortfolios are due tomorrow! I am nearing completion on my own ePortfolio and only have a few things to fix up and add. I was fortunate enough to have prior understanding of Dreamweaver as I used it during own schooling years. So as you have probably already assumed, before starting my ePortfolio, I was already quite familiar with the program. Despite this, my journey of creating an ePortfolio has been a new learning experience. I have used new programs such as Kidspiration, Movie… Continue

Influences on the Habitus of Agents in the Education System. And ICT???

Hi All,

In an assignment for another class earlier this year I wrote an essay on the influences on the habitus of agents in the education system. The conclusion that came to me was that of a symbolic interactionalistic veiw, stating that humans are active, creative participants who construct their own social world, rather than passive, conforming objects of socialization, and to be put into context that each student interacts within the school environment differently. As a teacher or future tea… Continue

Hi, Alisha and Jenny, I'm rather surprised that you should even consider building your own e-Portfolio or that a grade 1- ePortfolio will have Lifelong continuity. As much as I have enjoyed teaching web design I would not think of creating an e-Por…
